Part-Time Marketing Intern

We want to foster and develop the artistic entrepreneurial spirit, and now we’re hiring!
The Marketing Intern position is a part-time position.
The Marketing Intern reports to the Marketing and Development Directors. Building, solidifying and communicating the brand and mission of Opera on Tap is of primary importance to the company today. Opera on Tap creates unique, unusual and highly creative and enjoyable experiences for audiences in every type of venue, and we want someone committed to the mission and experience of OOT to help us get out the word!
OOT’s Marketing Intern will:
- Be part of our existing marketing team owning day-to-day brand responsibilities, maintaining consistency of message and visual identity, contributing to growth in digital marketing, data analysis, and campaign execution
- Learn how to tell a compelling story with data and generate insights and viable recommendations
- Take photos/videos at shows for social media use
- Research and keep press list fresh
- Create graphics for Home Brew, New Brew, Playground Operas and all of OOT’s programming
- Help create eblasts/social media posts
- Participate in formal and informal training opportunities
- Support streaming activities across Opera on Tap programming
Time Commitment: Approx. 5-10 hours per week

Our NY-metro-based team works from home with occasional in-person meetings and weekly video conference calls. Work hours are flexible provided the workload can be managed within deadlines and communications with company stakeholders and 3rd parties we work with can be executed in an efficient manner.
