Suzi Q. Smith is an award-winning artist, activist, and educator who lives in Denver, Colorado.
Piper Mullins was the director of the Denver Mercury Poetry Slam from 2013-2016, and coach and team member of 4 Denver Mercury National Poetry Slam teams. They were a part of the 4th place nationally ranked Denver Mercury team at the National Poetry Slam in 2015 and has worked as a teaching artist with students all across Denver. They have also been a featured poet in venues across the US. Their work has been featured in La Palabra: The Word is a Woman, and published in the Swimming with Elephants Publications anthology “Light as a Feather,” and more.
Ian R. Dougherty is a co-founder of the @Mercury Cafe Poetry Slam and long time member of the Denver poetry community. He is also a giant teddy bear.
Tameca L Coleman is a singer, writer, massage therapist, itinerant nerd and point and shoot tourist in their own town. Tameca has published work in many genres, and has also performed and recorded music with many different bands. She doodles sometimes and likes weird music and dancebreaks.
