Chef Marc Bouchard serves up the drama with packets of Gulf of Maine seafood, prepared individually and served piping hot! Followed with the finest Italian-style roast beef, native wild mushrooms, a warm salad and, of course, something very chocolate and very, very decadent.

Audition for Opera on Tap – Boston

Opera on Tap Boston Artist Roster Auditions

OOT Boston is on the hunt for fabulous opera singers (21 and up) for our Artist Roster. If you think you can sing the socks off a crowd for a frosty mug or three, then Opera on Tap is for you!

When: October 14, 12pm-5pm & October 15, 5pm-9pm

Where: Longy School of Music, 27 Garden St. Cambridge, MA 02138

Payment:  All artists are paid per gig ($50-$250+) depending on length, repertoire, and distance.  Public concerts are scheduled in one of our Boston area venues with little to no rehearsal time and usually include music already in the artist’s repertoire.  

Apply/Contact:  To be considered for an audition, please submit a headshot and resume to bostonauditions@operaontap.com with your first and last name in the subject line by no later than 6pm on September 21.

If you have a preferred audition date/time please list.  A $10 audition fee will be taken at the time of your audition.

Requirements/Materials:  Auditioners will be asked to prepare 3 contrasting arias and are welcome to bring additional repertoire (musical theater, operetta, and art songs). In addition, please be prepared to give a brief and compelling introduction about your first piece.

Squeeze into your Lederhose and get with the program, festivities in Munich start mid-September. Relax and marvel as our talented performers carry rousing tunes in German and other inebriated tongues—all you’ll have to carry is your Stein (though in fairness, that can be challenging too).

A Night at the Opera with Renmen!

Go beyond Aïda, Bohème, and Carmen in this exploration of little-known men’s ensemble repertoire by some of your favorite operatic composers! Featuring music of Rossini, Verdi, Puccini, Bizet, Mozart, Wagner, and Jake Heggie, a show-stopping vocal arrangement of The Magic Flute Overture, and even works by the Marx Brothers and Rufus Wainwright. Who knows? Your favorite RenMan may throw in an aria or two! Stay for a Gala Reception featuring performers from Boston’s own Opera on Tap, and raise a glass with us at this unique celebration of both the operatic and choral communities of our metro area!
