New York Philharmonic Spring Gala with Dudamel and Kissin
Date/Time
04/28/2026
7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
The New York Philharmonic presents a special performance featuring Music and Artistic Director Designate Gustavo Dudamel and world-renowned pianist Evgeny Kissin. This collaboration marks Kissin’s first appearance with the Orchestra in over ten years, as he joins Dudamel for a program highlighting the piano concertos of Scriabin and Rimsky-Korsakov. The performance concludes with Stravinsky’s The Firebird Suite (1919 version), celebrating a new artistic era for the Philharmonic.
Following the concert, patrons have the option of continuing the evening with a black-tie gala dinner honoring patron Barbara Tober and the late Donald Tober. The gala includes a cocktail reception and a multi-course dinner alongside the artists, offering a unique opportunity for supporters to gather. Proceeds from the event provide essential funding for the Philharmonic’s education and community initiatives throughout the city.
