They say we all have an angel on our right shoulder and a devil on our left, both telling us what to do. Which side wins? Are you a Saint or a Sinner? This month’s edition of Opera on Tap Hamburg “Saints and Sinners” will take you on a journey from heaven to hell. Our group of international opera singers will raise you up to heaven performing oratorio highlights and then take you down to hell, exploring the dark side of opera. Join us, we promise it won’t be purgatory! Opera on Tap Hamburg is a non-profit organization that brings together a group of international opera singers presenting high quality performances in a relaxed atmosphere, and it’s totally free, although donations are very welcome! So, come, drink a beer, and enjoy with us this month’s version of Opera on Tap in Hamburg.
Jeder kennt es, das symbolische Bild des Engels auf unserer rechten und des Teufels auf unserer linken Schulter, im fortgehenden Streit unser Tun zu beeinflussen. Welche Seite gewinnt? Sind wir böse oder gut? (Ist man ein Sünder oder ein Heiliger?) Das Thema für die März Edition von Opera on Tap Hamburg “Sinners and Saints” nimmt Sie mit auf eine Reise, ballancierend auf dem Schmalen Grad zwischen Himmel und Hölle. Als eine Gruppe, bestehend aus Opernsängern verschiedener Nationalitäten, werden wir mit Ihnen begleitet von himmlischen Oratorium Klängen in den Himmel fahren um später in die Hölle zu fahren um gemeinsam die dunkelsten Seiten zu erkunden, die die Oper zu bieten hat. Begleiten Sie uns auf diese musikalische Reise, wir versprechen, das Fegefeuer wird Ihnen erspart bleiben.
Opera on Tap Hamburg ist eine gemeinnützige Organisation, die eine Gruppe internationaler Opernsänger zusammenbringt, die in einer entspannten Atmosphäre qualitativ hochwertige Aufführungen präsentieren. Der Eintritt ist frei, das Konzept ist rein auf Spenden basiert. Einem gemütlichen kulturellen Abend steht also nichts im Wege, kommt vorbei, genießt einen Drink und erlebt mit uns diese April Edition von Opera on Tap Hamburg.

OOT-LV is on the look out for talented opera singers (21 & over) to join our Artist Roster. If you have a great voice, a great attitude, and a great way of working a crowd in a bar, then Opera on Tap is for you! We’ve been performing in bars around the Las Vegas area, including Classic Jewel and the Bunkhouse Saloon, and we’d love to have even more singers to perform on our shows.
Auditions will be held at the Family Music Center Sahara location on Sunday, March 19 from 12 to 5 pm.

Opera on Tap Chicago presents this installment at the Harold Washington Library. This recital’s theme centers around cookbooks and the comfort of the kitchen, and will feature local singers performing adaptations about Gertrude Stein and Julia Child.
