Opera on Tap LA is rounding up devilish divas for a night of incarceration at the Chained Rabbit. Scary good food and drink will warm your heart while blood curdling song chills your blood. And it all ends with a costume contest to select the most frightening of the night’s ghouls from the stage and audience.

Ever thought opera could include football?
Well, this one does!
With OOT-Wisconsin personalities such as David Guzman, Dana Vetter, Erin Sura, Austin Bare, and Josh Perkins, this 45 -minute opera focuses around two football players, two cheerleaders, and a coach.
Passion in Pigskin is written by New York – based composer and librettist duo Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon.
*During the first half of the show evenings, OOT-WIS will have seasoned performers sing songs not from the show but related to its theme, crazy, sometimes messed-up love and the like.
October is also nationally the OOTOBER fundraising month for all of Opera on Tap, so we will touch on that a little bit the nights of the show.

Ever thought operas were based around football?
This one is a 45 minute opera with two football players, two cheerleaders, and a coach.
Get ready for love triangles and singing from the sideline and such things!
The show is written by a New York-based composer and librettist duo, Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon (Mopat Music). Ellen and Michael will be joining us for both shows (Thursday and Friday).
*We will be having the first half of the night with additional guests in what would otherwise be our normal Opera on Tap gigs, singing songs within a theme, this one being love: unrequited, conflicted, “messed-up,” and others related to the show.
October is also the national OOTOBER fundraising month, so that first half, we’ll speak on that very shortly.
Don’t miss personalities such as Josh Perkins, Dana Vetter, David Guzman, Austin Bare, and Erin Sura on the stage singing their hearts out.
Produced by Mopat Music and Opera on Tap – Wisconsin.
