The well-traveled among us may be connoisseurs of foreign lovers, able to discuss the varied qualities of each nationality, but who make the best operatic lovers?

Is it the ardent Italians?

The languid French?

The forthright Germans?

Those naughty Russians?

Sparks will fly as we lay on the lovin’ – and you choose who is hot or not!

Newbrew relationships

 New Brew presents:

The Relationship Show

February 5, 2016 – 8pm

Barbes (376 9th st, Brooklyn)

$10 Suggested cover

Relationships, huh? We look for the perfect someone, we believe the fairy tale, we dream that it will all fall into place and bliss will follow. Sometimes it works out like that, sometimes …not. In this month of cupid, chocolates, flowers, and St. Valentine, the New Brew crew explores what can happen when boy meets girl meets boy meets boy meets girl…well, you get the picture.

Falling in (and out) of love will be Anne Hiatt, Kamala Sankaram, Krista Wozniak, David Gordon, and Seth Gilman, with guest artist Matthew Yohn (noted sex-researcher…wait, wait, make that: noted baritone). Marriage counseling (and piano accompaniment) provided by Chris Berg.

Program will include works by Bernstein, Sondheim, Chris Berg, Gilda Lyons, Matt Marks, Andrew Lippa, Micha Spoliansky, Elliott Carter and Tom Cipullo.
